In January 2009, the 4-H horse club voted in its new officers and welcomed 15 new members to their ranks. The group then voted on a name for themselves, which is how the “Saddlebreds” were born. This group now consists of over 35 members.

    The Saddlebreds are dedicated to learning all aspects of horsemanship. This group meets the second  or first Saturday of each month from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. At each meeting they focus on different areas of equine knowledge such as:

6. •Horse Diets and Exercise
